SAY IT LIKE ITS FUNNY

People feel ecstatic when good things happen to them and get depressed when things go wrong. People have no control over what happens with their lives. One should always try and stay happy because life is all about ups and downs. The most interesting way to stay cheerful and spread happiness is to lighten a person’s mood with a laughter filled joke. A joke is always put forward with a humorous intention. Jokes are typically for the entertainment of friends and onlookers. The desired response of a funny joke is generally laughter. Jokes can be in various languages and of various forms.

Jokes have been a part of human culture since at least 1900 BC. A fart joke from ancient Sumer is currently believed to be the world's oldest known joke. English jokes are famous worldwide but we Indians believe that a Hindi joke has a more funny appeal to it and receives more appraisal.

Santa and Banta jokes are the funniestHindi jokes enjoyed by the people. Santa and Banta jokes are a class of jokes based on stereotypes of Sikhs.  Although jokes about several ethnic stereotypes are common in India, the Sardarji jokes are one of the most popular and widely circulated jokes in India and Pakistan. A popular serious of Sardar jokes is the 12o clock jokes. There are other forms of Hindi jokes as well which are political jokes, sexist jokes, mathematical jokes, sick jokes and religious jokes.  There are a lot of comedy shows shown on television which focus on making the audience laugh. These shows are humor based and aim at making a person’s mood light.

Jokes are not always funny; the experts say that the way of presenting a joke should be correct. One should always crack a joke only where it’s necessary or else it doesn’t mean a thing and it doesn’t attract laughter.  A joke cracked in a college classroom would always be funnier that a joke cracked in a hectic office hour. One should always make sure that he is not offending a person with his jokes. Not every joke has the ability to make a person laugh. A person should make sure he isincorporating a sense of wittiness while cracking a joke or else the joke might fall flat. Hindi jokes always tend to beat the sophisticated English jokes when it comes to laughter and humor.
